Microsoft Edge picks up Adblock Plus support on Android and iOS [Update]
Microsoft continues to iterate on its Border browser for Android, with beta testers being first in line for improvements. And with the latest beta release, the company is tackling an area that'south certain to be important to everyone: ads.
Updated June 25, 2022: Microsoft has now confirmed that ad blocking is rolling out to everyone on iOS likewise.
The Microsoft Edge for Android beta at present includes support for advertisement blocking via Adblock Plus. Built straight into the browser, users tin can now plow the feature on from within the settings menu. If you've used Adblock Plus on your desktop machine, then you'll know what to expect here, with the feature keeping sites clear of potentially abrasive advertisements as you browse.
